Sacramento, California — November 5, 2025— 3Strands Global Foundation is proud to announce the launch of the TATE Advisory Board, a significant step forward in the fight against human trafficking. The TATE initiative (Telecommunications Against Trafficking & Exploitation), originally launched a few years ago, has grown exponentially to include participation from 205 companies across all 50 states. This initiative empowers telecommunications, wireless, and tower employees to recognize the signs of human trafficking and notify the appropriate authorities.
“Human trafficking is a hidden crime that thrives in silence,” said Ashlie Bryant, CEO, at 3Strands Global Foundation. “The TATE initiative was born out of a commitment to train employees within the telecommunications industry to recognize and notify the correct individuals if human trafficking occurs. By launching the TATE Advisory Board, we aim to take this mission to the next level by fostering industry-wide collaboration and leadership.”
The newly formed TATE Advisory Board is composed of a diverse group of influential leaders from across the telecommunications sector. These leaders bring unparalleled expertise, a passionate dedication and unwavering commitment to the cause. The board’s mission is to provide strategic guidance and drive forward the industry’s unified goal: empowering all employees to recognize and notify authorities of potential human trafficking occurrences.
Since its inception, the TATE initiative has:
- Partnered with companies in every state to implement its life-saving training program.
- Equipped thousands of employees with tools to identify and report suspicious activities.
- Raised awareness about the role of the telecommunications industry in disrupting human trafficking in communities.
About the TATE Advisory Board
The TATE Advisory Board, in conjunction with 3Strands Global Foundation, will:
- Enhance and expand training programs to reach all levels of the telecommunications workforce.
- Advocate for industry-wide standards and best practices in recognizing and reporting human trafficking.
- Foster collaboration between companies to create a united front against human trafficking.
